Scanlon of Colliers International sells 37,171 s/f flex building for $2.2 million

Londonderry, NH Colliers International, a global leader in commercial real estate services, sold a 37,171 s/f industrial/flex building located at 6 George Ave. Dan Scanlon, JD, CCIM of Colliers International’s Manchester office represented the seller, Ohana Atlantic Properties, LLC and assisted the buyer, Wesley Properties, LLC.  According to the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds, the sale price was $2.2 million.

6 George Ave. is the former home to Vulcan Electric, a flexible PC board manufacturer. Located near the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport and situated on 2.94 acres, this high-tech manufacturing building was renovated in 2009. The building consists of 7,000 s/f of office space on 2 floors, 7,500 s/f of high bay warehouse, and 22,500 s/f of flex/manufacturing space.

The buyer is an entity affiliated with Textiles Coated International (TCI), whose main facility is located right next door. TCI has been using additional space at the building it owns at 7 Delta Dr., but needed a larger facility for those functions. According to John Tippett, CEO of TCI, 6 George Ave. will be used for R&D, a laboratory, and warehousing. The 7 Delta Dr. property is in the process of being sold.
