According to Chace Ruttenberg & Freedman, LLP, Allan Shine, Richard Land, and Macrina Hjerpe will be joining the firm as partners and Andre Digou will join the firm as an associate. Each of these lawyers is currently practicing at Winograd Shine Land & Finkle, P.C., a Providence firm which has been a part of the Rhode Island legal community for over 85 years.
Shine and Land are well known for their work in the areas of receivership, bankruptcy, creditors' rights and business law. The focus of Hjerpe's practice is estate planning and administration, elder law, Medicaid planning, and asset protection. Digou will continue his litigation and business law practice. In addition to managing their active legal practices, Shine, Land, and Hjerpe are frequent lecturers at seminars for lawyers and non-lawyers and regularly volunteer their time to many community organizations.
