Spring at RE&FA: Industry insights, discussions & events

Boston, MA In April, the Real Estate & Finance Association (RE&FA) continued to convene industry leaders and professionals for timely discussions on the most pressing issues impacting the commercial real estate industry and Greater Boston community.

On Wednesday, April 29, RE&FA hosted the sold-out Leaders in Commercial Real Estate featuring Paul Marcus, CEO of Marcus Partners at the PwC offices in the Seaport District. The discussion, led by RE&FA Board of Director and Programs Tri-Chair, Andrew Alperstein, partner with PwC, brought together members of the commercial real estate community for an engaging and insightful conversation covering market trends, leadership perspectives, and the evolving economic landscape shaping the industry today. Attendees had the opportunity to hear firsthand insights from one of the industry’s respected leaders while networking with fellow professionals from across the CRE sector.

The following day, on Thursday, April 30, the Greater Boston Real Estate Board (GBREB) hosted a Rent Control Ballot Question Town Hall Webinar via Zoom. The virtual program provided members with an informative and balanced discussion surrounding the proposed rent control ballot initiative and its potential implications for the housing market, property owners, tenants, and the broader real estate industry.

RE&FA is proud to announce that Robert Griffin, Jr., co-head of U.S. Capital Markets at Newmark, will be honored with the 2026 Swain Distinguished Service Award at the 38th Annual RE&FA Gala.
