Suffolk Construction awarded three Shaw's Supermarket projects
Suffolk Construction has been awarded three new projects by Shaw's Supermarkets, strengthening a long-term partnership between the two companies. Over the past several years, Suffolk has successfully completed more than ten projects for the grocery chain. As part of the companies' newest collaboration, Suffolk will renovate three existing stores in Allston, Brighton and Auburndale.
Each store is located in a heavy traffic area, making Suffolk the ideal choice to perform the work given its track record for managing building projects on dense urban sites.
Suffolk is already underway on the renovations. Work to each store will be completed in less than four months.
Suffolk's team will perform interior upgrades to walls, add lighted soffits, ceilings and finishes, equipment relocations, MEP upgrades and upgraded entries.

Now what? As the year comes to a close, the state of retail is always in the news. The answers vary greatly depending on who in the various related industries you ask, each offering a unique lens on the challenges and opportunities ahead.
