Sullivan & Sullivan Auctioneers, LLC acquired the state of Rhode Island's 2-year contract for real estate auctioneer services awarded by the Rhode Island Department of Administration Division of Capital Projects & Property Management.
In December Sullivan & Sullivan conducted their first auction under the contract on behalf of the state. The auction was held on the front lawn of the vacant single-family property located at 32 Roma Ave. Sullivan & Sullivan's president and lead auctioneer, Marianne Sullivan, greeted attendees as they arrived for the open house and registered to bid. The home was sold in a matter of minutes.
"Investors in search of a bargain have the chance to take advantage of the state's surplus inventory," said Sullivan. "Properties like this one is sold 'as is' but with due diligence investors have an ideal opportunity for a flip."
