Taylor of KW Commercial Coastal Land & Commercial Group sells 60-62 Manchester St.

Concord, NH Whitney Taylor, commercial real estate specialist with KW Commercial’s Coastal Land & Commercial Group represented the sale of 60–62 Manchester St. The property, most recently occupied by Dunkin’, has been acquired by Red Blazer Restaurant & Pub, which plans to expand its bakery operations at the site.

The $951,000 transaction marks a full-circle moment for a property that has been an important part of the city’s food-service community for decades.

Long before it became a Dunkin’ restaurant, the building served as a bakery that produced donuts for the nearby Dunkin’ operated by the Cafua family.

The property represents an early chapter in the Cafua family’s entrepreneurial journey and their longstanding commitment to the New Hampshire business community.

The Cafua family’s success in the quick-service restaurant industry began in 1980, when Portuguese immigrants Fernando and Gilda Cafua purchased their first Dunkin’ location in Derry, New Hampshire. Their sons, Mark, David, and Gregory Cafua, expanded the family business into one of New England’s largest Dunkin’ franchise organizations, growing to more than 200 restaurants across six states. The Manchester St. property remains a meaningful part of that legacy.

“This property holds a special place in our family’s history and in the growth of our business. While it was not an easy decision to sell, we are grateful to see it continue serving the Concord community and return to its bakery roots. It’s exciting to know another locally owned business will build upon the foundation and tradition established here.”

After years as a nationally recognized coffee and donut destination, the building is once again returning to one of its original purposes—producing fresh baked goods for the local community.

Situated on approximately one acre along Manchester St., one of the city’s busiest commercial corridors, the property offers outstanding visibility, convenient access, and an existing drive-thru configuration that makes it well suited for food-service operations.

For Red Blazer Restaurant & Pub, the acquisition provides an opportunity to expand its bakery production while preserving a property that has long been associated with locally made food and community entrepreneurship.

“It’s always rewarding to help bring together buyers and sellers, but this transaction is especially meaningful because of the history behind the building,” said Taylor. “I know this was a difficult property for the Cafua family to part with, but it’s exciting to see them continue pursuing new opportunities while this property begins its next chapter. Commercial real estate is about more than buildings — it’s about the businesses, families, and communities that shape them. Seeing this site remain dedicated to food production and return to its bakery roots makes this a truly special transaction.”

The sale reflects the continued strength of locally owned businesses investing in Concord’s future. Rather than being redeveloped for a different use, the property will continue serving the community in a way that honors its rich history while supporting its next generation of local businesses.

This may seem self-serving, and I’ll be the first to admit it. But unlike some of the artificial intelligence tools now reshaping our industry, I am fully aware of my own bias. So, hear me out. The rise of AI in commercial real estate is not a distant threat or a speculative headline.
