The Kane Company has leased 130 International Dr., on Pease International Tradeport to Andover Healthcare, Inc., bringing high-quality manufacturing and administrative jobs to Portsmouth. The two-story brick and glass building, offers a combination of office and light manufacturing space totaling 50,687 s/f.
Founded in 1976, Andover Healthcare is a manufacturer of high-quality cohesive bandages and tapes, with their headquarters in Salisbury, Mass. They are expanding the business to include offices and manufacturing in Portsmouth.
This month, Andover will move all retail and wound care manufacturing, as well as their executive offices and customer service, sales, and marketing departments to the building. Rick Hogan, Andover's vice president of sales and marketing, expressed enthusiasm in describing plans for the new space; "This is a world-class facility where we will be able to take customers on tour and manufacture to clean standards; another milestone in our 38-year history."
