The Mass Save Residential New Construction Program promotes energy efficient single and multi-family residential developments

The Mass Save Residential New Construction Program in Massachusetts, promotes the construction of energy efficient single and multi-family residential developments within the Program Administrator's service territories throughout the state. The program serves both low rise and high rise new construction and gut renovations. Projects that participate in the program are eligible for monetary incentives and technical assistance based off of the energy efficiency measures implemented in the home.
Mass Save is an initiative sponsored by the Massachusetts' gas and electric utilities and energy efficiency service provider, including Berkshire Gas, Cape Light Compact, Columbia Gas of Massachusetts, Liberty Utilities, National Grid, NSTAR, Unitil and Western Massachusetts Electric Company. The sponsors of Mass Save work closely with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources to provide a wide range of services, incentives, trainings, and information promoting energy efficiency that help residents and businesses manage energy use and related costs.
