Thunberg of Terracon elected president of New Hampshire Society of Professional Engineers in Concord

Concord, NH According to Terracon, a leading national engineering consulting firm, Carl Thunberg, PE, geotechnical department manager, will serve as president of the New Hampshire Society of Professional Engineers (NHSPE) for 2016 - 2017.  Thunberg’s goals as president are to recruit younger members to leadership roles within NHSPE, provide excellent continuing education events for NHSPE members, and to continue tracking the New Hampshire legislative docket for bills that could potentially threaten the safe practice of engineering by licensed professional engineers.

NHSPE is the local chapter of a larger national organization, the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE).

Thunberg is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE).
