Todreas Hanley Associates brokers 1,700 s/f retail lease to Monella
According to Todreas Hanley Associates, Monella has opened at Thornes Marketplace. Monella, a specialty fashion store for women, has its flagship store in Harvard Square and is owned and operated by fashion retailer Haluk Ozek. The new store in Northampton occupies almost 1,700 s/f on the first floor of Thornes. The glass storefront has a distinctive contemporary look and the window display highlights Monella's selection of both trendy and classic women's fashions.
Thornes Marketplace has recently undergone improvements designed to enhance the retail experience while maintaining the building's distinctive character. Thornes was originally the largest department store in Northampton. In the 1980s it was converted to a retail center with an array of local and regional retailers and quickly became an attraction for local residents, students, and visitors to the region. Today Thornes Marketplace is the centerpiece of a vibrant eight block downtown area, and Northampton remains the dominant shopping destination in the region.
Todreas Hanley Associates leased the space, and is the marketing, leasing, and physical improvement consultant for the property.
