The YWCA Building on Spring St. has sold for $2.35 million with $900,000 going to fund the building of low income housing in Portland. Through the joint efforts of CBRE |The Boulos Companies, Tranzon Auction Properties and YWCA counsel Verrill Dana, the transaction was consummated on July 10. The buyers were a joint partnership between the Portland Museum of Art and Maine Workforce Housing, LLC. "This transaction couldn't have happened without the cooperation of all parties." said Tom Saturley, president of Tranzon.
