Biddeford, ME True Storage has opened its newest class A self-storage facility, following the transformation of a long-underutilized historic mill into a modern, climate-controlled storage destination. Opened in March 2025, the facility is located at 32-40 Main St. Bldg. 36 and features 66,160 s/f of storage space across 829 units.

The revitalized property reflects the character of the city’s industrial heritage while meeting today’s storage needs with designed spaces. The facility is owned and developed by True Storage and is operated by CubeSmart.

Customers at the new location benefit from a wide variety of unit sizes, climate-controlled interiors, and a range of modern amenities, including 24-hour video surveillance, secure access systems, and professional on-site service — ensuring a safe and seamless storage experience for both residential and commercial use.

“This project is a perfect example of what we strive to do — create something new while honoring what came before,” said a representative from True Storage. “We’re excited to breathe new life into this historic structure and deliver a meaningful, secure amenity to the Biddeford community.”
