Union Square Donuts to open at Derby Street Shops this summer

Hingham, MA Union Square Donuts, the Somerville-based donut shop, will open a new location at Derby Street Shops later this summer.

Founded in 2012, Union Square Donuts has built a devoted following across Greater Boston for its from-scratch approach and creative flavor combinations. All donuts are made fresh daily using high-quality ingredients.

“We’ve always focused on doing things the right way — making everything from scratch and not cutting corners. Bringing that to Derby Street is an exciting next step for us,” said Josh Danoff, co-founder of Union Square Donuts.

Upon opening, Union Square Donuts will offer the community a new go-to destination for everyday treats and special indulgences. Additional details, including grand opening plans and exclusive Derby Street offerings, will be announced in the coming months.

The Derby Street Shops location will offer the brand’s signature mix of nostalgic favorites and bold, crave-worthy creations. Guests can expect a rotating selection of flavors, including Union Square Donuts’ iconic Brown Butter Hazelnut Crunch, Honey Glazed, Sea Salt Bourbon Caramel, and Boston Cream, along with limited-run offerings, Derby Street exclusives, and a variety of vegan options. 

Union Square Donuts will also offer a full coffee program, featuring innovative espresso drinks, a curated lineup of matcha beverages, and seasonal specials such as hot mulled apple cider in the fall.
