Belmont, NH Vernet Properties and Andy Levy, retail manager at Verani Realty, have leased 90% of the 250,000 s/f Belknap Marketplace on Rt. 3. Anchored by Shaw’s Supermarket, Belknap Marketplace has a variety of businesses, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
A grand re-opening and celebration was held on April 18th and 19th in conjunction with the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce Home Show. The event was open to the public and food trucks and entertainment on the 19th. Radio Station 104 “The Hawk” broadcasted live all weekend. In addition, a special guest, the Easter Bunny, was hopping around on Saturday.
Since acquiring the shopping center in 2021, Vernet Properties has completed a multi-million-dollar, major renovation, transforming a neglected and mostly vacant mall into a retail and service center. Bringing a variety of shopping and entertainment experiences to the region.
The Lakes Region now has its first indoor Pickleball Club (26,357 s/f). The former Peebles Department store has been transformed into the region’s first indoor Pickleball club, open to beginners and experienced players of all ages.
