Collette Vacations new employee fitness center, 192 Middle Street - Pawtucket, RI

Construction has begun on the new Collette Vacations employee fitness center at 192 Middle St. Designed by Vision 3 Architects, the new 4,620 s/f facility offers two levels of exercise areas and amenities for use by Collette's employees.
Collette Vacations has offices in two buildings adjacent to this new building site in a commercial area along the Blackstone River. The fitness center, in Pawtucket's Riverfront District, is adjacent to the Rte. 95 interstate and the surrounding residential neighborhood. The wood framed building is designed to complement the surrounding residential neighborhood. Meehan Builders, Inc. is the general contractor.
"Collette Vacations knew Vision 3 Architects would be the right partner in designing our wellness center since they did such great work when we restored the 180 Middle Street mill building," said Dan Sullivan, Jr., president and CEO of Collette Vacations.
"They will help confirm our focus to promote active living for our team as every employee's overall health and well-being is our utmost importance."
Collette chose to build a wellness center based on results from a company survey. The survey revealed an overwhelming response rate of 85% when asked if employees would be interested in utilizing a wellness center if one were built. The company also recognized that continuing to concentrate on improving the health and quality of its employees' lives will in turn enhance their productivity and competitiveness.
