Washington Trust finances two Linear Retail shopping centers

Washington Trust's commercial real estate group provided $7.2 million in financing to Linear Retail Smithfield #1, LLC and Linear Retail Raynham #1, LLC, for two retail shopping centers located at 400-420 Putnam Pike (Rte. 44) in Smithfield, and 325 New State Highway (Rte. 44) in Raynham. The Smithfield shopping center contains 35,130 s/f and the Raynham shopping center has 21,247 s/f. "Both properties are located on prominent retail corridors with access to local residential areas as well as to major interstates," said Joseph MarcAurele, Washington Trust chairman, president, and CEO.
