Washington Trust lends $805,000 to turf farm

The Washington Trust Co.'s commercial and industrial lending group provided $805,000 in financing to Washington County Turf Farms Inc. at 3738 South County Trail. The turf farm, owned by Darrell Bouchard, is a 100-acre farm that has been providing stripping, grading and complete sod installations for both commercial and residential properties since 1970. "Washington County Turf Farms has a proven record of thriving despite the difficult economy," said Joseph MarcAurele, Washington Trust chairman, president and CEO.
