Jackson, NH Wason Associates Hospitality Real Estate Brokerage Group brokered sale of the 19th century 59,000 s/f Wentworth Inn at 1 Carter Notch Rd., to AE Wentworth, LLC.
AE Wentworth purchased the 61-guest-room inn for $11.5 million. Earle Wason CCIM of Wason Assocs. represented the seller and presented the property.
The Wentworth was sold by 30+ year owner Ellie Koeppel to Atlantic Equity Partners, LLC.
Located in the valley of the White Mountains, The Wentworth Inn, built in 1883, is one of the last remaining hotels in New England that maintains a historic atmosphere with all the modern amenities and upgrades. The Wentworth Inn also abuts the Wentworth Golf Course and cross-country ski trails; has a prime location in the center of the village, a year-round destination minutes from four well-known ski resorts in New Hampshire; and is not far from nearby cities like Boston and Portland.
