Waters of Mclaughry Comm'l. handles lease for Omer and Bob's Sport Shop

June 05, 2008 - Northern New England
Bruce Waters, CCIM, senior associate/broker for McLaughry Commercial, has finalized a long term lease between GS & MB Real Estate Holdings, LLC, landlord, and Omer and Bob's Sport Shop, Inc., tenant.
Omer and Bob's will be relocating to the former Lebanon Pharmacy facility on the mall in downtown. The new store offers twice the space for retail/service and twice the space for inventory and storage than their current facility in Hanover.

Richard Wallace, owner and operator of Omer and Bob's said, "Our decision to move from Hanover was not easy, after being there for over 20 years, but with the continued attractiveness of downtown Lebanon and the amount of space available for our next phase of growth, it simply was too compelling not to relocate. A major portion of our clientele is centered in the Lebanon/Hanover area, but we service the entire Upper Valley with our highly trained staff".
Omer and Bob's is extremely well known for their biking and winter sports activity sales and service and have the best trained staff in Northern New England. Omer and Bob's also offers an extensive selection of sports footwear and racquet sports.
Waters said, "The facility will be approximately 10,000 s/f, and will be newly designed by the architectural firm of Haynes and Garthwaite of Norwich, VT, with Trumbull Nelson Construction of Hanover doing the construction".

Ledyard National Bank will finance the extensive renovations for Omer and Bob's.

The new store is to open in October, just in time to introduce all the new products for the winter sports season. Until then, their Hanover store will remain open for retail sales and bike repairs and services.

McLaughry Commercial represented the landlord and assisted the tenant in this long term relationship.
