Warwick, RI The Rhode Island Association of Realtors (RIAR) named its slate of 2025 officers at the 76th annual RI Realtors installation and awards celebration. Chris Whitten, broker/owner of Premeer Real Estate will lead the 6,000-member organization in the coming year.
Whitten, a Realtor licensed in R.I and Mass., has held leadership positions in local, state and national Realtor associations including the Northern Rhode Island Board of Realtors and the Realtor Association of Central Massachusetts, as well as the Rhode Island and the National Associations of Realtors. He has earned several awards of recognition for his service to the Realtor organization, including Realtor of the Year, the President’s Award, and the Omega Tao Rho Medal of Service. He has also been the recipient of the Northern Rhode Island Board’s Good Neighbor Award and the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce’s Ben Mondor Community Leader Award, among numerous other civic and charitable honors. He is the president of the Premeer Gives Back Foundation, which has raised and donated more than $95,000 for local charities since its inception in 2019.
Other officers inducted into office include 2025 president-elect Mike Pereira of June Realty, vice president Sandra Warner of Warner Realty Group, and secretary/treasurer Crystal D’Agostino of Start Realty.
They will assume their positions after their installation at the 2024 National Association of Realtors Conference in Boston this month.
