Wyzer Biosciences to relocate to 5,800 s/f space at Cummings Properties’ Boston Ave. innovation campus

Medford, MA Wyzer Biosciences will relocate next month from 85 Bolton St. in Cambridge to Cummings Properties’ Boston Ave. innovation campus. The firm’s new headquarters encompasses 5,800 s/f of administrative and laboratory space.

Founded in Cambridge in 2011, Wyzer provides customized, end-to-end DNA sequencing and preparation services for the biopharma, biotech, and academic research sectors.

Cummings Properties leasing director Steve Cusano worked with JLL vice president, lab planning and operations Marc Consalvi on the lease.

“Medford offers many of the conveniences that make Cambridge and Boston attractive to growing life sciences companies, while providing a compelling value proposition,” said Cusano. “Wyzer will remain close to the region’s robust science and tech communities while gaining additional space to support its continued organic growth.”

Wyzer’s new location places the company among a growing concentration of science and technology firms on Boston Ave.. In addition to multiple labs operated by Tufts University, its new neighbors include Lithios, Morphoceuticals, Myro Therapeutics, Sunflower Therapeutics, and Unravel Biosciences.

The innovation campus features move-in-ready lab and office space with upgraded finishes, free covered parking, and on-site MBTA bus access. The Green Line extension, as well as numerous eateries, shops, and other conveniences, are within close walking distance.
