Chester, CT According to Kristin Geenty, SIOR and president of the Geenty Group, Realtors, Sage American Grill has been sold. Kevin Geenty, SIOR along with Kristin Geenty, SIOR of the Geenty Group Realtors represented the seller, D & A Restaurant Enterprises, LLC. The restaurant and real estate were listed for $1.29 million and the sale amount was in the area of the asking price.

Shawn Reilly of Levey, Miller, Maretz assisted in the marketing. Walt Coady of Coady Realty in Killingworth represented the buyer AP&S Properties, LLC. AP&S has changed the name of the restaurant to Brushmill by the Waterfall.

The principals of AP&S are currently restaurant owners and one is a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) of Hyde Park, N.Y. The seller was represented by attorney John Colleran and attorney Peter Ressler both of New Haven, while the buyer was represented by attorney Kelly Giuliano of Hill & Hill in Madison.

Meanwhile, D & A Restaurant Enterprises, LLC is working on new, innovative ideas for Sage American Bar & Grill of New Haven.
