Southwick Crossing Shopping Center reaches 85% occupancy

Southwick Crossing Shopping Center (formerly known as Gillette Corners) located on the Conn./ Mass. border was acquired in 2009 and subsequently underwent renovations by its new owner, Southwick Crossing LLC, a joint venture between partners Mark Draymore and David Flynn of Flynn Properties in Conn. Since the repositioning they have attracted 10 new tenants to the property, bringing it from 50% occupancy to 85% in less than one year. The shopping center is located on 4.5 acres at the 4 way lighted intersection of Rtes. 202 and 168. The property is comprised of a 25,000 s/f strip retail center, a McDonald's and a 2,000 s/f drive-thru building. The corner is also home to Big-Y Supermarket, Ocean State Job Lot, Pride Gas Station and a newly built CVS.
