Quonset Business Park is a leader of job creation and economic development in Rhode Island. Our over 200 tenant companies and the people who work at them benefit from convenient access to I-95, a freight rail service that operates throughout the park, and the Port of Davisville, Rhode Island’s only public port and a gateway to markets throughout Southern New England. Quonset delivers a comprehensive tenant experience that includes these business logistics, as well as retail, recreation and transportation solutions.

The Gateway Retail District along Post Rd. includes a hotel ideal for business travelers and a number of retail options.

We are also home to an important Rhode Island historical attraction as well. The Seabee Museum and Memorial Park honors the many men and women who served at the Davisville Naval base from 1942 to 1994. The museum is committed to preserving the proud history of the U.S. Navy Seabees – the inventors of the original Quonset hut.

The Business Park boasts recreational amenities including 22 acres of athletic fields for public use, as well as a golf course on-site. One of the premier public golf facilities in the state, the North Kingstown Golf Course, is 6,200 yards in length with a classic layout designed by Walter Johnson. There is also a bike path that runs a length of 2.2 miles along the Northern edge of Quonset Business Park. The path then connects with one run by the Town of North Kingstown that ends at a site with a beautiful, panoramic view of Narragansett Bay.

There are four beautiful beaches at Quonset where you can enjoy the beauty of South County. Blue Beach, Compass Rose Beach, Spink’s Neck Beach and Calf Pasture Beach are available for both tenant and public use.

The new RIPTA vanpool program also provides a unique transportation and commuting solution for the people who work here. A group of commuters who work similar hours and travel similar routes can save money by sharing a vanpool directly to the Park.

Quonset Development Corp. is focused on maintaining a business park that provides tenants with everything they need to thrive. The 200 plus companies that have made their home at Quonset all benefit from the array of amenities, and are just one of the many reasons why Quonset is poised for continued growth.

Steven King, PE, is the managing director of the Quonset Development Corp., North Kingstown, R.I.
