February 26 It's Electric: Lighting, Retrofits, and Energy Savings Location: Northeast Utilities, 107 Selden St., Berlin Time: 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. Join your BOMA colleagues to hear from Rich Rattray of OSRAM SYLVANIA who will discuss new lighting trends and why they are popular and how they are affected by Federal Energy Codes. He will also discuss the latest developments in fluorescent lighting, how LEDs perform in comparison with traditional light sources, why they should be used and their advantages/disadvantages. He will show live demos of products available. Joining Rich will be Jim Motta of CL&P/ Yankee Gas who will cover the many incentive programs offered by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund. He will identify the available programs and the incentive dollars that can be obtained from the various sources. The attendees will learn how to design energy efficiency into their projects and gain a better understanding of how to leverage the incentive programs for long and short term customer benefits.
