USGBC MA to host Earth Day Clean Tech Building Forum from 5-8 p.m., on Wednesday, April 22 at MassChallenge, 23 Drydock Ave., 6th Floor. The US Green Building Council of Massachusetts (USGBC MA) is organizing an Earth Day event to recognize clean tech and building tech companies and leaders in Massachusetts. Experts and engaged individuals in the real estate sector will be able to discover, share, and converse on the topic of innovation in building design, construction, facility management and related realms. They are looking to connect firms who are making products and designing services which will improve the performance of buildings, improve the building user experience, and improve the environmental sustainability of buildings. This is a major component of the Massachusetts economy and they want all involved to meet and mix to raise the profile of the "Building Tech" sector! PROGRAM: * Introduction from the USGBC MA chapter; * Opening remarks from Massachusetts secretary of energy and environmental affairs, Matt Beaton; * Panel of leaders in the Clean Tech and Building Industry; Networking and interacting with over 200 professionals from startups, academic labs, and innovative companies who are defining the next frontier in the real estate industry.
