06-27-2015 - Bay State Industrial Welding & Fabrication, Inc. hosts 2nd Annual Motorcycle Run benefiting Building Dreams for Marines

What started as a simple brainstorming session to figure out what Bay State Industrial Welding & Fabrication, Inc. could do to give back to their community has now blossomed into an annual Motorcycle Run with the 1st year bringing in over $17,000 for the Building Dreams for Marines organization. 135 motorcycles showed up to ride in 2014 to raise money and awareness for Building Dreams for Marines (BDFM) and it is their mission to double those numbers for 2015's event. They hope that you will take a moment to consider a donation to this cause or even mark your calendar to join them on Saturday June 27 for the 2nd Annual Motorcycle Run! More information and tickets to the event can be purchased on our website at www.bsiw.com/bdfm-motorcycle-run. Bay State's involvement with the BDFM organization has shown them that US Marines are a tough and strong bunch that typically do not ask for or admit to needing help. These men and women are shaped to be strong, reliable, and brave individuals who fight for our freedom and for everything that we call "home". All of us at Bay State Industrial Welding & Fabrication, Inc. felt like it was our duty to find a way to show our gratitude by assisting the BDFM organization in obtaining more funds in order to complete more projects for more deserving Marines. Building Dreams for Marines is a NH based organization that provides home remodeling services to Honorable Marines that have endured life-altering injuries while on active duty. BDFM pays for all costs associated with all phases of construction for each remodel project for each selected Marine. Their goal is to raise enough money to assist BDFM in providing full remodeling services to each Marine that applies for the program. The more money they raise, the more home remodels we will be able to provide to those brave Marines who deserve it. Lastly, a big thank you to their 2nd Annual BDFM Motorcycle Run Gold Sponsor: Foxwoods Resort & Casino; Silver Sponsor: J. Calnan & Associates; T-Shirt Sponsors: MotorcycleNight, NorthPoint Construction, and Branchi Painting and to the Hudson Police Department for donating their time and services to ensuring a safe and smooth ride!
