Responder’s Name: Heather Conley Company: Heather Conley Photography, LLC What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015? In 2015 I was able to broaden my clientele with new and exciting completed photography projects. I have captured projects in the commercial real estate & A/E/C industry across Connecticut & Western Mass. Hiring a professional photographer was a first for some of my clients resulting in new collaboration of ideas and cost savings for them. Due to my avid immersion into the local market, I have recently accepted an invitation to join the Construction Institute’s marketing committee. My role will support their social media efforts. 2016 will also bring more landscape architectural projects for completion. I am excited and focused to work on more of these projects as they bring me tremendous creative satisfaction. What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2015? Griffin Industrial Realty’s - New England Tradeport Properties in Connecticut. Exterior photography began in September and ended in late November for the majority of their industrial buildings. A mix of day and evening images were created for end use across their marketing platform and to populate their new website (launching soon). Their properties are located in the Bradley Airport corridor spanning the towns of East Granby, Windsor and Bloomfield. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2016? Continued steady growth is expected through 2016. Transit-oriented and urban development are on the rise driven by the millennial & baby boomer demographics – influenced by both professional and lifestyle preferences. It’s an exciting time to be a part of our industry!
