Molly Pidgeon, Ironwood Molly Pidgeon, Ironwood
Respondent’s Name: Molly Pidgeon Company: Ironwood What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2015? The relocation and expansion of our office and project portfolio has been my greatest accomplishment. The steady & continued growth of personnel and long-term business relationships are the backbone of our firm. What was your most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2015? Our most notable project in 2015 was the design & project delivery of the first Boda Borg, an expansive reality gaming facility here in the states. The Swedish company has locations in Sweden & Ireland and is now happy to add Boston to their corporate locations. Ironwood is currently planning an expansion of the facility to be open in 2017. What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2016? I see a continued resurgence of city centers as the outdoor shopping and live, work, play trend continues to provide growth in communities outside of Boston. The housing market still seems to be keeping a strong growth pace which will continue as long as the market demands keep pace. Vacant industrial & manufacturing facilities will remain challenging due to state regulations as will large commercial offices outside of public transportation.
