2016 TOBY & Industry Awards and year-end BOMA programming

Boston, MA On Thursday, October 6 over 200 BOMA members gathered at the Hard Rock Café for BOMA Boston’s annual Fallfest event. This event was hosted by sponsoring affiliate members, and industry members were able to participate in an evening of networking, drinks and hors d ‘oeuvres, and raffle prizes!

On Tuesday, November 15, BOMA Boston will be hosting the 2016 TOBY & Industry Awards Dinner at the Boston Marriott Copley Place from 5:30 – 9:00 p.m. Members and non-members will gather to celebrate industry excellence. This year’s Executive of the Year Award honoree is Gregory Brown, vice president at Hines. All other honorees will be revealed the evening of the awards.  Awards will be presented in 10 different categories for buildings and 8 categories for industry awards. This is BOMA Boston’s single largest gathering with close to 600 commercial real estate professionals in attendance. For more information, please visit www.bomaboston.org.

On Thursday, December 1, BOMA Boston will host a Roundtable - Industry Leaders: Insights from the BOMA Boston Board. The luncheon will take place at 100 High St., from 11:45 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. Larry Lenrow of The Davis Companies, will facilitate a conversation with industry leaders, all long time members of BOMA Boston, on how they grew their careers, how they used professional organizations to advance, and practical advice on professional development. Featured on the panel: Erika Clarke of Novaya Real Estate Ventures; Mike Gill of Federal Reserve Bank of Boston, 2016 BOMA Boston president; Jonathan Peck of C&W Services, and Steve Wessling of Wessling Architects

Come celebrate the year with BOMA Boston on Thursday, December 8 at Central Wharf Co., at the annual Holiday Happy Hour. Network with friends, colleagues, and BOMA board members in a festive setting. BOMA Boston will be hosting a toy and book drive, benefiting Cradles to Crayons. Gift cards and monetary donations will be accepted.
