What are some of the benefits of being a mentor or having a mentor? I really enjoy mentoring young people, particularly women, in this industry. It allows me impart knowledge and insights that I’ve gained throughout my career with those just starting out or looking to get into commercial real estate. It’s always great to see when my support has made a positive impact on someone’s career. I see the benefits of mentorship go both ways. I recently participated in a peer mentorship through CREW Boston, and I gained valuable insights from my mentee. With her support, I was able to take bigger risks and step outside of my comfort zone.

What recent project or transaction are you most proud of? I’m very proud of moderating a speaking panel at the ICSC N.E.

I was invited to lead this panels of retail experts based on commentary I had provided to local media outlets and other written content I had published. Preparing for the event took a significant amount of work and due diligence. It was all worth it, as the event was great. We had a strong turnout, the panel’s commentary was excellent and we received a lot of positive feedback on our content.
