Who or what has been the strongest influence on your career and why? As someone who has spent more of her career in healthcare design, I would have to say that the strongest influence on my career is all the amazing women I have met who work in the healthcare field. From my best friend in high school who became a third generation nurse, to all of those I worked with as clients or end-users. I think every one of them had something to teach me about how to make spaces that worked better for themselves and their patients, whether they were the receptionist or the CEO.
