2019 Annual Review: Anthony Gaglio of Viking Construction, Inc.

Anthony Gaglio
Viking Construction, Inc.

What was your greatest professional accomplishment in 2019?
Viking Construction continued to achieve steady growth in 2019 and I am pleased to have shared in the success that our team created. In addition, as part of an ongoing effort to improve jobsite safety Viking entered into a voluntary agreement with OSHA that is designed to increase job safety knowledge and health awareness through monthly on-site training and collaboration. Each activity in the OSHA partnership is designed to eliminate job-related injuries to current and future workers in the construction industry.

What was your most notable project, deal or transaction in 2019?
Our most notable accomplishment was completing phase one of a 100,000 s/f project at Strawberry Hill School in Stamford, Conn. so that we could commence work on phase two.

What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2020?
As a true general contractor, we watch for and follow trends so that we can stay relevant and react to the next niche of projects. We will work on our backlog of projects in 2020: My focus is truly on the end of 2021 and 2022 at this point.
