How many years have you been in your current field? 14

Which project, deal or transaction was the “game changer” in the advancement of your career during the last 10 years? Planning and designing the Stamford Health Medical Office Facility was a game-changer in my career. Working with the client to evaluate philosophies in the delivery of patient care by demonstrating the efficiencies of collocating services gave Stamford Hospital a leading edge in their delivery of outpatient care. Post-occupancy evaluations validated the design solutions. This experience provided me with the opportunity to present at Planetree International Conferences for Patient Centered Care and positively impact other projects and client’s goals.

What are you doing differently in 2019 that has had a positive impact on your career? I am practicing self-awareness and have an interest in learning more about expressing emotions appropriately in the workplace as a means to solving complex problems with teams and forging stronger professional and social relationships. Through thoughtfulness and empathy, I believe this will encourage others to be more open and practice the same. As a result, I’ve seen my leadership skills expand.
