What was the most difficult part of working during the pandemic of 2020? Keeping the process moving; many state agencies were on restricted scheduled with limited staff; when the pandemic hit – one of my sales had environmental issues to work through.
Days turned to weeks; eventually we got commitment and leases were signed and the property closed.
What aspects of working from home have you enjoyed most? No loss of time; meetings were mostly on line.
What was your greatest professional accomplishment or most notable project, deal, or transaction in 2020? Opening Commercial Connection LLC; and working with a business broker on several properties; to maximize both the business and the real estate’s value.
What are your predictions for commercial real estate in 2021? 2021 will be a better year than 2020; there will be a lot of activity; good and bad. As the vaccine progresses, the markets will become more active.
I think there will be a lot of transactions as we work toward a thriving economy.
As we enter the spring of 2026, the Rhode Island industrial real estate market stands on stable footing, following several years of resilience fueled by constrained supply, steady demand, and dynamic economic conditions.
