What led you to your current profession? I previously worked for an engineering firm and was looking for something more challenging and dynamic. I found engineering to be too rigid and repetitive for me. I wanted a profession that could offer me a new experience and to problem solve every day. I am one of those people that likes to be constantly busy and retail construction certainly provides that.
In the past year, what project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? This summer we completed 28 Sephora at Kohl’s renovations throughout the Northeast. This was a brand-new venture by the two companies so there was no “template” for us to work from. Each project only had a three-week execution window, so every moving piece had to fall perfectly into place to successfully complete them. It was one of the most stressful projects I have ever been a part of but now that the stores are opening, and I get to see the finished space, it has made it all worth it.
