2023 Ones to Watch Rising Stars: Steve Koester, Corderman & Company, Inc.

Steve Koester
Assistant Project Manager
Corderman & Company, Inc.

Number of years at firm: 2

One thing on my bucket list: Ski the Alps

When I am not working, I am: Golfing, skiing, hiking

What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? Over the last year, I had the opportunity to participate in the ACE Mentor Program in the Boston chapter. This year’s project involved developing an emergency response site in the Boston Common. As a mentor, I helped conduct weekly design classes with 35 high school students from the Boston area, and we covered topics in architecture, construction, and engineering. It was inspiring to see the next generation of students motivated to learn about construction management and improve their problem-solving skills. I look forward to participating next year with another great group!

What makes this nominee a RISING STAR?
“Steve is a tremendous asset to our team and his work ethic and self-motivation have demonstrated his aptitude as a project manager. He consistently interfaces with clients and all design team members in a polite, professional manner, while still being able to have the tough conversations required by our industry.” - Matthew Santapaula, Senior Project Manager at Corderman & Company, Inc.
