What recent project, transaction or accomplishment are you most proud of? The redevelopment of the MIT/Kendall Sq. MBTA Station. For the past five years, I have managed on behalf of MITIMCo the redevelopment of 6,000 s/f owned by three parties – MIT, city of Cambridge, and the state of Massachusetts. Facilitating an atmosphere of problem solving, the team was challenged with a complex entitlements process resulting in multiple granting authorities: structure permitted by the state and 160-foot-long canopy permitted by Cambridge. The outcome is a new gateway to MIT’s campus, an enhanced MBTA experience for the community and lifelong relationships with institutional, city, state, and private entities in the real estate industry.
