In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? In the last 12 months I have made significant strides in the process of becoming a licensed architect. With the completion of the AXP, and the passing of four of the ARE divisions, I am now two exams away from being licensure eligible in Massachusetts.

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? Personally, I find with proper planning and communication to both internal and external teams I find it easy to balance both my career and personal life. For me, that means both making time for family and friends and traveling. Planning and communicating early and often for both vacations and other ‘hard-stops’ has allowed me to attend various social events, travel internationally, and most recently, ski the Rockies for the first time.

Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? I have been extremely fortunate to have a huge support system both personally and professionally. Professionally, at VIVO I have been surrounded by mentors and peers that have both supported me and given me the space to learn and grow. The bond with my graduate school cohort has been invaluable as I have navigated both my career and the architectural licensure process. Personally, my aunt, Donna Reen, has been my backbone and confidant in life.
