Mike’s drive for continuous self-improvement through professional development and personal challenges positions him for long-term success.” - Cassie Demick, Marketing Director at Malone Commercial Brokers.

In the last 12 months what accomplishment are you most proud of? I’ve continued to grow my relationships with existing and new clients including taking on more business brokerage assignments in addition to my commercial real estate brokerage work; they often go hand in hand. I’m proud to be part of Malone Commercial Brokers and the well-oiled machine it is which provides us brokers the opportunity to service our clients as well as, if not better, than any commercial real estate brokerage firm out there.

Who are the key people in your life that have contributed to your success? I’ve been fortunate to have many mentors over the years as well as clients who trust me and who I trust. As any immediate family member of a broker knows, we are never “off the clock”; having an understanding and supportive family has been paramount as my career continues to progress. I’d be remiss if I didn’t shout out to the unbelievable staff we have at MCB who provide us with tremendous support.

How do you balance your rising career with your personal life? With careful diligence, unrelenting tenacity and a smile! It’s often controlled chaos, but juggling a busy career, three young children, a marriage and a personal life has been the most challenging yet rewarding experience I’ve endured. Finding various outlets to manage the inevitable stressful times that come along with brokerage work has also been a key aspect for being able to keep the train on the tracks, so to speak.

Outside of your career, where else do you seek continuous learning and personal growth? I enjoy challenges and overcoming adversity. If there’s an opportunity to put myself through difficult situations, physical or mental, that offers the chance to improve myself by getting through it, I will accept those challenges. I also learn from other professionals from a variety of industries by watching actions they’ve done to improve themselves or others around them, follow those behaviors and make sure not to do the things that have the opposite effect.
