What is one project or achievement in your career that you are most proud of, and how did it impact your organization or community? There are not too many professions that impact your community for your entire career, but construction is certainly one of them. I started out as a senior project buyer in custom architectural millwork where i was the buyer on some amazing projects. TD Garden, The Baseball Hall of Fame, Moynihan Train Hall and The Space Needle were my favorites. Making the transition into business development has inspired me even more. Although I am newer to The Chamberlain Companies, I am excited for the opportunity to be part of new projects, the growth of the company and new achievements.

Who or what has inspired you most in your career, and what advice would you share with the next generation of women entering the A/E/C industry? I would say that my father gave me the inspiration to work in the A/E/C world. He worked in the construction industry for over 35 years and was a master craftsman. My advice to the next generation of women would be to find yourself a good mentor. Join organizations like NAWIC or PWC and do not be afraid to fail. Being a woman in construction is amazing and I am proud of who I’ve become because of it.

Do you have a hidden talent or a surprising fact about yourself that most people wouldn’t know? I love to sing! Spent my younger days writing and recording music. I love Karaoke!
