2026 Ones to Watch - Rising Stars: Anna Biondo, Chapman Construction/Design

Anna Biondo
Assistant Project Manager
Chapman Construction/Design

“Anna is reliable, proactive, and consistently goes above and beyond, building trust and confidence across her team and with clients. A strong communicator and true team player, she ensures everyone stays informed by clearly summarizing project changes and following up with subcontractors and design partners. She demonstrates strong urgency and attention to detail, even under pressure, and consistently keeps work organized and moving forward.”

Who has been a mentor or influential figure in your career, and what is the most valuable advice they have shared with you? I can never overstate my gratitude for the mentors who have supported me. From professors and internship supervisors to my entire Chapman team, the people who have shown confidence in my ability to succeed and helped me get there have built a strong foundation for a fulfilling career in this industry. One of the project managers I work with, Jayce Barone, provides invaluable guidance as I navigate new projects and challenges. She reminds me to trust myself and the effort I put into my work, and her empathy and realism have elevated both my confidence and the quality of my work.

What trends or opportunities do you see shaping the future of your industry? I’m excited to see how evolving sustainability goals continue to shape the industry. Sustainability is broad, and its implementation varies by project, but the goal remains the same: using our role in this industry to build a better place for those who come after us. Whether advancing energy efficiency through the MA Stretch Code, prioritizing the health and well-being of those building and occupying a space, or sourcing materials to reduce environmental impact and support fair labor standards, there is important work ahead – and we’re in the right place at the right time to do it.
