What trends or market activity are you seeing as we move into the spring season? Bidding opportunities are very strong in the new construction market; however, it seems that there are more general contractors involved in each project than there have been in the past. We are seeing a larger number of contractors bidding on the same projects we are, which is not usually the case.
What projects, initiatives, or types of work are currently keeping your team busiest? Mixed-use buildings are 60% of what we are bidding for projects, with retail space on the bottom with living space above. Schools and prisons are also keeping our teams busy reroofing those types of buildings, and there seems to be more money available from government funding than there has been in the past.
As we enter the spring of 2026, the Rhode Island industrial real estate market stands on stable footing, following several years of resilience fueled by constrained supply, steady demand, and dynamic economic conditions.
