What advice or perspective would you share with women building their careers in CRE?
Early in your career, it’s easy to focus on the next title, promotion or what you think you’re supposed to be working toward. I’ve learned it’s more valuable to understand what matters to you and build from there. Careers take unexpected turns, and sometimes that’s exactly the point. Be ambitious, but pay attention to the work that gives you energy, the people you want around you and the life you want outside of work. Your path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s to be successful.
