What has helped shape the way you approach your work and career?
My career in real estate litigation began unexpectedly. I did not anticipate building a career in this area when I was in law school, but when I started practicing during the 1990s banking crisis, post-foreclosure eviction work opened the door to this field. Over 30 years, I’ve expanded into land use, zoning, title disputes, eminent domain, and commercial lease disputes. The lesson? Keep an open mind – your passion may be where you least expect it.
