Who or what inspired you to join the AEC industry? I have always had a high appreciation for architecture, but it was not until a professor encouraged me to get involved in ASHRAE and to take courses in HVAC design that I found a way to bridge my engineering knowledge to the AEC industry. It’s ten years later and I am still highly involved in ASHRAE, having served as the Connecticut Chapter President (2022-23), as well as serving on the Student Activities Committee at the Regional and Society levels. My personal experience has made me extremely passionate about introducing the future generations of engineers to the AEC Industry.
