What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? In the past year, I achieved a significant milestone by being promoted to assistant project manager. This highlighted the value of my contributions to both my team and our projects. It reinforced the idea that diversity is embraced in our industry. With construction always in demand, there are ample opportunities for those who prioritize quality work. This experience has shown me that work ethic and dedication are recognized and rewarded, paving the way for further success.

What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry? My key to success in the industry is resilience. I’ve eliminated excuses, relying instead on strong work ethic and quality output to speak for themselves. Challenges are inevitable, and I see them as opportunities to grow rather than barriers to progress. I try to see the advantage in unfavorable circumstances, using them as fuel and motivation to push forward. By embracing this mindset, I’ve learned to navigate through obstacles, and now use it as a tool to continue to contribute to my team and projects.
