Jenna Ferretti
Assistant Project Manager
AmConCorp

What was your greatest professional achievement or most notable project in the last 12 months? Within the last 12 months I worked on an incredibly difficult project with a female-lead team. We were not favored in this particular environment, and it was made clear that a male team would have been preferred, however we leaned on and supported each other to not only get the job done but never step down to the adversity we unfortunately faced. Although it was tough to show up every day with strength and confidence, we had no choice but to succeed due to the odds against us, and we did. It was reassuring to have each other’s backs until we crossed the finish line.

What has been the driving force behind your success in the AEC industry? One of the main driving forces behind my success in the AEC industry has without a doubt been the mentors that have taken the time to show me the way throughout my journey. Since the beginning of my career, I never had to doubt who had my best interests and believed in my potential success. I always had someone to ask the important (and not so important) questions to, to turn to for advice, and validate that I was capable and deserving of being here even when I doubted myself.
