A Fall Harvest of events from Associated Subcontractors of Mass.!

Boston, MA Associated Subcontractors of Mass. (ASM) has a full slate of events scheduled for this fall, and we hope to see you at one or more of them! Between networking events and educational seminars, there’s something for everyone involved in construction, including:

On Tuesday, September 27, ASM’s members will mix and mingle at Boston’s iconic Hard Rock Café for our “Fall Kickoff” member mixer. No guest speakers, no presentations….just the company of fellow subcontractors and the industry’s best suppliers and service providers enjoying an evening of lively conversation and industry chatter.

On Thursday, October 6, join us for ASM’s 3rd annual TECHtoberfest at the Embassy Suites in Waltham! This year, the focus will be on mobile apps for construction, and we’re delighted to welcome Robert McKinney of construction technology firm JB Knowledge as our keynote presenter. Known nationally as the “Construction App Guru”, McKinney will discuss leading mobile apps for the five main construction workflows (plan management, daily reporting, time entry, safety documentation, and progress photos), and he’ll demonstrate the cutting-edge devices and “wearables” that he’s personally tested. We’ll also have software demonstrations from five leading providers of construction apps that may not yet be on your radar.

On November 1 at the Sheraton Framingham, ASM is delighted to welcome over 20 of the area’s leading general contractors and construction management firms to our general contractor showcase. Held just once every two years, it’s a unique opportunity for subcontractors to learn about upcoming project opportunities, company protocols, and other valuable information directly from key decision-makers at general contracting firms. Whether you’re reconnecting with existing customers or meeting new ones, you need to clear your calendar for this event!
