According to Bob Parsons, chairman of the construction products distributor A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc., Kimberly Corwin, current president and chief operating officer, has been promoted to to president and chief executive officer.
Corwin has more than 25 years in the concrete construction industry. She began her career in Iowa at Composite Technologies Corporation. She joined Hughes Supply in Florida in 2002 to help with the growth of 2 locations, participating in the set up and implementation of the first ever combined facilities location.
Corwin joined A.H. Harris in September of 2003, serving 6 years as business development manager promoting the growth of tilt-up construction in the northeast region through numerous educational events and A/E presentations, as well as advancing the use of welded rebar cages. As vice president of sales and marketing (from 2009 to 2011) she implemented many new customer-focused initiatives, vendor development programs and an internal education forum. In 2011 she assumed the role of president of A.H. Harris & Sons, Inc. and in 2013 was promoted to president and chief operating officer.
Corwin is very active with the Tilt-Up Concrete Association (TCA) and is currently president on the TCA board of directors. She also serves on the TCA promotions committee and Global Associates Forum and is actively involved in the CRSI (Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute) serving on both the marketing and government affairs committees.
